 The course has been designed to provide an introduction to teaching for  individuals who would like to work or are currently working within FE  Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities. 

 The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training is a first stage  teaching qualification that will give candidates a fundamental  understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer in  relation to legislation, equality, diversity, inclusivity & meeting  the needs of learners. It includes the use of initial & diagnostic  assessments & requires candidates to plan & deliver inclusive  teaching & learning, carry out assessments of & for learning and use  resources effectively. 

 This qualification is intended for those who lead a team of internal quality assurance staff. 

 The Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of  Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) is intended for those who wish  to gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internal  quality assurance without any requirement to practice. It is a  knowledge-only award 

The Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of  Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) is for candidates who would be  responsible for the planning, allocating & monitoring of the work  done by other Internal Quality Assurers. The area of responsibility  would be that of managing or co-ordinating the quality assurance in the  organisation through managing the work of a team of Internal Quality  Assurers.
